Norway’s Havila Kystruten has cancelled more coastal cruises due to a force majeure at Tersan Shipyard after the tragic earthquakes in Turkey.

The 15,500-gt newbuilding Havila Pollux was intended to start running from Bergen on 22 March.

But the shipbuilder notified the Saevik family-owned company of a force majeure starting last week.

“Consequently, a large number of workers from the shipyard, many who were to work on Havila Pollux, have travelled to assist in the disaster area,” the Norwegian company said.
