MR tanker specialist Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding (HVS) is expanding its product offering by adding aframax tankers and LR2s to its building portfolio — with plans to roll out four to six vessels per year.
The Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) subsidiary is said to be holding talks with a shipping company for up to six 115,000-dwt product carrier newbuildings priced at about $53m each.
