Four South Korean shipbuilders have reported Korea Offshore & Shipbuilding Engineering (KSOE) to the competition regulator, accusing the company of poaching their workers.

According to shipbuilding sources, Samsung Heavy Industries, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, K Shipbuilding and Daehan Shipbuilding are upset that KSOE has recruited their experienced workers by offering higher salaries and better benefits.

An official from one of the four shipyards confirmed that a formal complaint has been made to the Korea Fair Trade Commission, which administers competition policies and handles antitrust cases.
