Turkey’s Canbaz Shipping Group is holding talks on ordering an innovative newbuilding in Japan and has plans to acquire more secondhand ships in the future.
The Istanbul-based company is plotting expansion plans on the back of optimism that its core business will grow.
Canbaz focuses on the shorthaul transportation of grain, iron ore and fertilisers. It particularly specialises in trades with vessels offering optimised cargo intake in shallow waters.
