Pacsari, the shipowning arm of Indonesian food manufacturer Indofood Sukses Makmur, is expanding its bulker fleet.
The Singapore-based company has commissioned Japan’s Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding Co to construct three 87,000-dwt post-panamaxes for delivery between the second half of 2020 and 2021.
A shipping source familiar with Pacsari confirmed the order, saying the contract was signed some time ago but never reported.
