Samos Steam has returned to its favourite Japanese shipyard Sumitomo Heavy Industries to book another 112,000-dwt crude carrier.
The order brings the total number of aframax tanker newbuildings it has under construction at the shipyard to two. Samos signed up for its earlier newbuilding last summer.
Samos is scheduled to take delivery of its latest aframax tanker newbuilding in the second quarter of 2022, according to the company’s website.
