Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) has passed a milestone in its foray into the cruise shipbuilding sector but it is not retreating from building commercial vessels.
"Before we could set up the complete supply chain for our cruise shipbuilding activity, SWS will continue with the current practise of placing priority on cruise shipbuilding, then on merchant vessels and offshore units," said Chen Gang, president of SWS.
