Tsuneishi Group (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding in China has won an order for three containerships from Taicang Container Lines, a part of the state-owned Jiangsu Port Group.
Brokers estimate the 1,091-teu newbuildings, which will be delivered in 2022, are worth around $20m each.
The order comes after Tsuneishi Zhoushan completed a project to build a series of four similar design 1,020-teu containerships for Shanghai Haihua.
