A South African research ship will set out next year in a bid to find British explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton's ill-fated vessel Endurance, lost in Antarctica since 1915.
The ship sank in 3,000 metres of water after being crushed by ice in the Weddell Sea.
Shackleton and his crew survived after the explorer used a lifeboat to reach a whaling station on South Georgia.
