Canada's Groupe Desgagnes has emerged as the buyer of a modern dual-fueled tanker sold by Sweden's Furetank last week.
Brokers had earlier pinned the acquisition of the 18,000-dwt Fure Vinga (built 2018) on compatriot owner Algoma Central Corporation.
But Desgagnes told TradeWinds it had snapped up the vessel, which VesselsValue assesses as worth $18.67m.
