Hong Kong trader Gigantic Ozone Energy enters VLCC sector as prices surge

A new player has emerged as a VLCC owner following a deal with the Angelicoussis Group that has put it firmly in the money.

Hong Kong oil trader Gigantic Ozone Energy (GOE) is the buyer of the 320,500-dwt Maran Andromeda (built 2005), which was offloaded by the Greek giant in August for what was then seen as a remarkable $37m.
