PaxOcean has secured newbuilding orders for two small product and chemical from Indonesian shipowner PT AKR Sea Transport.
The Robert Kuok-backed shipyard group said the two 5,000-dwt vessels will be built at its Zhuhai shipyard in southern China.
PaxOcean said the two vessels, Hull PX1093 and PX1095, are scheduled to be delivery towards the end of the third quarter of 2018.
PT AKR Sea Transport, a subsidiary of Jakarta-listed PT AKR Corporindo Tbk, currently has a fleet of five small clean tankers.
