Staff at Greek tanker operator Prime Marine Management took part in reforestation efforts in Athens last week by planting trees on Hymettus, the mountain overlooking the Greek capital from its eastern fringes.

The Kallithea-based company has joined the Green Angels, an environmental initiative bringing together Greek firms interested in protecting forests.

Enjoying the fascinating views Hymettus offers of Athens, Piraeus and the straits of Salamis, Prime Marine employees took a Sunday walk on the 1,000-metre high mountain, planting trees under the guidance of experts from nearby municipalities.
