Iranian oil industry veteran Cirrus Kianersi has taken over the top spot at the National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC).
NITC managing director Ali Akbar Safaei has been replaced in a surprise move.
According to NITC officials, Kianersi was appointed as the company’s new managing director on Sunday in a decision made by the company’s board of directors.
Kianersi was also appointed as the representative of the Civil Servants Pension Fund on the NITC board.
