Suezmaxes are likely to feel the pain from disruption in Russia’s Black Sea ports after Ukrainian seaborne drone attacks damaged a naval vessel and a small tanker, says BRS Group.

The tanker class is responsible for hauling 62% of exports from the Black Sea, while smaller aframaxes haul the majority of oil in the Baltics.

The drone attacks on Friday and Saturday came with a warning from Ukraine that no harbour was safe for Russian shipping in the Black Sea.
