Team Tankers slipped into the red for the second quarter of 2016 as the chemical tanker specialist suffered a decline in revenue.
The Hans Feringa-led shipowner lost $4.4m in the quarter versus a profit of $4.5m seen a year ago, according to figures released Thursday.
Revenue was down 10.1% year-on-year to $71.3m despite the average time charter equivalent (TCE) charter rate declining just 1% on a year ago to $13,242.
