The residency, entitled Twenty-Three Days at Sea, will offer artists in any medium passage onboard a cargoship sailing from Vancouver, Canada, to Shanghai, China.
The inaugural two residents will be sent to sea in August and September 2015, says the Access Gallery, which is inviting submissions for its Travelling Artist Residency Program, in partnership with Burrard Arts Foundation and Contraste agence d’art.
