News reports emerging out of Germany claiming that NYK subsidiary Crystal Cruises had purchased the 22,500-gt cruiseship Deutschland (built 1998) for EUR 50m ($59.8m) spread like wildfire across both mainstream and shipping media.
Last Friday, Crystal, whose senior management has been indicating a desire to expand the company, said on its Twitter page that it would be making a big announcement on Monday.
