Brokers and owners say Flex has taken Alpha Tankers & Freighters’ 160,000-cbm Energy Atlantic (built 2015) on a six-month charter from next month, with an option to extend the hire by a similar period. Most recently, the vessel has been employed by trader Vitol.
The Energy Atlantic is the fourth LNG carrier that Flex has snapped up in the past two months.
