Kuwait Oil Tanker Co (KOTC) is moving forward on renewing its LPG fleet, having issued a newbuilding tender for two very large gas carriers (VLGCs).
The project has been long awaited by yards since talk of KOTC’s interest in ordering the vessels emerged two years ago.
The company is inviting bids from yards that have more than 10 years of experience in VLGC construction.
