Two surveyers are pursuing litigation against Peter Dohle Schiffahrts and Stellar Line Ocean Transport after part of a seismic vessel carried on a heavylift ship fell overboard.

Advanced Seismic Technologies and Geokinetics International are seeking $1.24m in damages in the federal lawsuit in Houston, Texas, where both companies were based, over the shipment on the 12,700-dwt Fortitude (built 2008).

The heavylifter is owned by a German KG (limited partnership) affiliate of Hamburg-based Peter Dohle, which manages the Antigua and Barbuda-flag vessel.
