Yasa Shipping is planning to expand its fleet but denies it has ordered suezmax tanker newbuildings worth more than $250m.

Emirhan Sabanci, son of Yasa founder Yalcin Sabanci, says talk that the company has inked up to four 160,000-dwt crude oil tankers at Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction (HHIC)’s Subic Bay facility in the Philippines is incorrect.
