Zeaborn Group has added a 2002-built heavy-lifter to its fleet following the takeover of loss-making Rickmers-Linie.
The German Group has acquired the 30,000-dwt Rickmers Hamburg (built 2002), a vessel owned by RZ Carrier and operated by Rickmers-Linie.
Zeaborn and Rickmers-Linie have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Rickmers Hamburg will operate for RZ under the brand of Rickmers-Linie and will re-join the German owner at the end of May, after a docking in Asia.
