Pantheon Tankers of Greece has booked a series of aframax tanker newbuildings at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) in a deal worth up to $180m.
Well-placed sources said theshipowner has contracted a pair of 115,000-dwt crude tankers for delivery in early 2020. The deal includes two options.
News of Pantheon planning to order the aframaxes was first reported by TradeWinds in April.
