It said the fleet has now passed the 125m gt market with 3,640 ships.
The flag hit 100m gt in January 2014.
It is run by International Registries Inc (IRI), which is now opening a new office in the Philippines.
“The fleet has been growing rapidly largely in part to our ability to provide timely services through our decentralised model,” said Bill Gallagher, president of IRI.
