Korean shipowner Hyundai Glovis has suffer a steep drop in its third quarter profit despite a revenue rise.

The Hyundai Motor Group unit, which owns car carriers, said net earnings were down 82.3% to KRW 15.69bn ($13.81m) to 30 September, from KRW 88.51bn in the same period of 2014.

It blamed sluggish demand in the car market.

The company said operating profit was up 13% at KRW 178.45bn,
