Diana Shipping has fixed one of its panamaxes to Uniper Global Commodities at a much lower rate than paid by the previous charterer.
The New York-listed owner of 41 bulkers has fixed the 73,691-dwt Calipso (built 2005) to the trader on a time charter that began on 13 April.
The charter will last until at least 15 October and can be extended to 31 December.
