Nitin Mehta has ended his eight-year tenure at the helm of Dubai-based Tomini Shipping, joining GMS as its new chief financial and strategy officer.
GMS founder and chief executive Anil Sharma told TradeWinds that Mehta would be taking responsibility for all areas of the diversified group’s operations, including recycling and shipping.
Mehta, whose background is in banking, joins GMS as the company is eager to broaden its shipping horizons beyond the recycling it is best known for.
