The Marshall Islands has said it is close to being removed from a European Union blacklist of jurisdictions that the 28-nation bloc regards as being uncooperative on tax.
Talks earlier this month with the EU's Code of Conduct Group (COCG), which pushes for global tax cooperation and harmonisation, were fruitful, the Marshall Islands’ registrar of corporations said in a statement on 17 July.
