A Shoei Kisen-owned pure car carrier was involved in a collision with a barge that lost three crew members, according to a company statement.

The 6,215-car Morning Cherry (built 2014) was outbound from Port of Huangpu, China when it collided with a barge carrying sand at 1900 hours local time yesterday.

Ten crew members from the barge have been rescued but three remain missing, Shoei Kisen said.
