Danish ro-ro group DFDS is getting rid of its Northern Ireland reefer line-haul business after it failed to meet expectations.

The company said Manfreight will take over the operations from 1 November, including 100 staff.

The restructuring will allow it to improve the return on invested capital.

The business made a loss in 2017.

The deal means a further accounting loss of DKK 10m ($1.58m)
