Dubai offshore shipping specialist P&O Maritime Logistics is entering the container market by modifying its multi-carrier vessels (MCVs).
Six of its heavy deck cargo ships will support sister shortsea line Unifeeder in dealing with stretched supply chains, the company said.
They will serve routes from the Americas to Southeast Asia.
The first retrofit has already been completed, P&O Maritime said.
