The company denied Asian reports it had ordered another four firm 63,800-dwt bulkers for delivery in 2015.
A spokesman told TradeWinds it has three sets of four options attached to last year's order of eight vessels, but had not yet decided to go ahead with any of them.
The first eight are due in 2015 and 2016 and will be operated by new outfit Vanguard Shipping.
