Diana Shipping was able to hire out one of its ice-class panamax bulkers as rates ease from March highs.
The time charter contract is with Uniper Global Commodities for the 77,529-dwt Atalandi (built 2014). The gross charter rate is $13,500 per day, less a 5% commission.
Uniper will take the Atalandi for a term lasting between 14 months to 17 months.
