Maersk Broker is taking full ownership of Lanic in which it has been the majority shareholder for a little over a year.
The Danish broking giant says the move fits its ambition to expand and the Lanic business will now fall under the umbrella of Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering.
“This latest development will allow all our brokers to provide our clients with an even higher volume of tangible information, market coverage as well as opportunities via the global Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering organisation and network,” a statement said.
