NovaAlgoma Short-Sea Carriers (NASC) has added another vessel to its growing fleet of minibulkers.

The 13,497-dwt Sider Venture (former Oslo Venture 1, built 2006) has been purchased from Oslo Bulk Shipping for an undisclosed price.

It is valued at around $4m, around half what its estimated worth at the start of the year, according to VesselsValue.

NASC, a joint venture between Nova Marine Carriers of Switzerland and Canada’s Algoma Central Corporation, will trade the vessel alongside five sister vessels already under commercial management.
