As it waits for an eventual recovery of the tanker market that seems to keep pushing further into 2022, VLCC owner DHT Holdings offered a bemused reaction to talk of a prospective combination by two of its biggest rivals.
Asked on Wednesday by Stifel analyst Ben Nolan about the "noise" emanating from Belgian owner Euronav — in which tanker magnate John Fredriksen has taken a 10% stake — DHT co-chief executive Svein Moxnes Harfjeld reflected satisfaction with the size of his own 26-VLCC fleet.
