The European Commission (EC) has approved an extension to Dutch tonnage tax breaks - subject to certain conditions.
Three amendments to the regime will stand until 31 December, 2028, it said on Friday.
Originally approved in 2009 and 2010, the measures concern reduced rates for vessels above 50,000 gt, as well as for shipmanagement companies, and the application of the scheme to cable-layers, pipeline-layers, research vessels and crane ships.
