Seasoned shipping executive Jesper Kjaedegaard has joined the board of V.Group following the completion of a takeover by Advent International.
Former Maersk Company UK chief executive Kjaedegaard will be a director on a new board chaired by logistics veteran John Pattullo.
Kjaedegaard, chairman of Maritime UK and a former president of the British Chamber of Shipping, spent over 30-years with Maersk and is also a director of Hafnia Tankers.
