Norway's Hoegh LNG Holdings has said its newbuild Hoegh Esperanza has started commissioning for FSRU operations in China.
The 170,000-cbm ship has now arrived at the Tianjin LNG terminal.
It is on a three-plus-one year FSRU/LNGC time charter with CNOOC.
The vessel will be used in FSRU mode for a minimum period each year, with the balance of the year in LNG carrier mode and/or FSRU mode.
