John Fredriksen's Avance Gas Holding is staying positive for 2021 after VLGC rates plunged back from January peaks.

The Oslo-listed LPG carrier owner said it expects volatile markets this year but that fundamentals are in place for healthier earnings.

US exports are expected to grow year on year and demand in Asia will increase, with China being the main driver, specifically with new propane hydrogenation plants amounting to 2m tonnes of additional volume, the company said.
