BW Group’s second floating storage and regasification unit converted from an LNG carrier has left Singapore for its new base in El Salvador.

Once it arrives, it will serve as the import terminal for the Energia del Pacifico (EDP) power project.

BW and project developer Invenergy said the 137,001-cbm BW Tatiana (ex-Gallina, built 2002) has left Singapore’s Keppel Tuas shipyard in Singapore and is en route to its new home at the Port of Acajutla, El Salvador.
