A pioneering barge-based floating storage and regasification unit built on speculation by Belgian shipowner Exmar is being dry-towed on the first leg of its journey before starting term employment in Bangladesh.
The unnamed, 26,320-cbm unit left China’s Wison Offshore & Marine in mid-February onboard China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC)'s semi-submersible heavylift vessel Hai Yang Shi You 278 (built 2012).
