Norway's Hoegh LNG says it has been selected as a preferred bidder for two more projects for its floating storage and regasification units – this time in Latin America.

The Oslo-listed shipowner said the two projects were based on long-term contracts with start-up dates from 2021-2023.

Hoegh LNG said it was in “detailed negotiations” to complete the FSRU charter parties for these projects, and this is expected to be completed by end 2020.
