A first-of-its-kind liquefied hydrogen carrier (LHC) has departed from its load port in southern Australia.
Eikland Energy data service iGIS/LNG said the 1,250-cbm Suiso Frontier (built 2021) left Hastings on Friday and has set its destination as Gladstone on the country’s east coast, where it is due to arrive this week.
Details on any loading for the vessel have yet to be given.
