Two new industry guides for the use of ammonia and hydrogen as marine fuels have been produced by the Society for Gas as a Marine Fuel (SGMF) as full life-cycle analysis work gets going.
Mark Bell, general manager and chief operating officer at SGMF, told TradeWinds that SGMF has worked hard to make the material on these two future fuels “neutral”, “forward thinking” and “available for anyone”.
