Korea Line’s deal to supply Shell with two LNG carriers is said to be worth KRW 358.2bn ($154m) per vessel, but more ships and charter extensions could boost that figure to over $1bn.
In late December the shipowner secured deals to supply two gas carriers to the Anglo Dutch oil major, according to South Korea’s Daishin Securities.
