A Seacor Holdings subsidiary is chasing GasChem Services and other connected companies for at least $2.9m after a crash on the water in Texas.

Seabulk Tankers and the eponymous registered owner of the 49,501-dwt Seabulk Challenge (built 1981) filed a lawsuit in the US federal court for the Southern District of Texas last week, accusing the GasChem Nordsee (built 2009) of speeding and not using a lookout when the two ships collided on 11 March.
