A Washington state shipowner is arguing data counts as cargo as it seeks to collect on unpaid charter hire.
Pacific Survey Group, owner of the 742-dwt research vessel Ocean Titan (built 1989), filed the suit in the US federal court for the Western District of Washington on 30 December alleging Tyche High Seas Capital Corp owes it $564,080.
