A Maltese container ship owner is pursuing an admitted fraudster after being swindled out of more than $250,000 intended to pay for bunkers.
Admiral Container Lines of Malta sued in the US federal court for the Southern District of New York on Monday seeking to garnish funds held at JP Morgan Chase that were supposed to be paid to Island Petroleum for the 1,878-teu Admiral Galaxy (built 2008) in Haifa.
